In the Native indian Himalayas the agriculture of seafood contributes little to the overall fresh water seafood manufacturing. Virtually every facility created for seafood agriculture in the Native indian

Himalayas generates seafood for storing sources and lakes primarily to are eligible of game sportfishing. Professional fishery is also dependent to some extent on the storing of lakes and tanks with fry and fingerlings.

While for a period of your energy and effort seafood hatcheries in the Himalayas have been raising eyed-eggs, fry and fingerlings of brownish and spectrum seafood, and fry and fingerlings of common carp for storing, only lately have some hatcheries began producing seeds for storing the natural mahseers and schizothoracines.

To fulfill the ever-increasing demands of fishing, subsistence and commercial fisheries, there has been a need for modernisation of some hatcheries, as previous neglect has resulted in a decline in seeds manufacturing. Some hatcheries have had to be discontinued.

The destiny of replanted coldwater varieties is well recorded, and more lately it has been summarised by Sehgal (1989).

At the starting of the 90's agriculture of seafood was being carried out on several seafood plants in Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Arunachal Pradesh and Sikkim. The siting of these aquaculture features was based on the availability of nutrient water in required amount and high quality, i.e. from rheocrene springs and snow-melt/glacier-fed sources.

Natural reproduction and plenty of here we are at egg burning of brownish and spectrum seafood is related to the changing of the photoperiod. In Kashmir brownish seafood reaches finish maturity in mid-November to mid-December in plants receiving snow/glacier-melt nutrient water.

This includes separation of males from females three several weeks prior to egg burning, and feeding them a wet diet made up of partially boiled seafood meat balls created from common carp and schizothoracines in a rate of 1:1.
